Machala's extinguishers

A fire that Adolfo Bucaram took place yesterday at 14:00 in the neighborhood, to the south of Machala, consumed five housings canes and wood, without victims were brought.

 According to witnesses' versions, the reason would be a short circuit due to the clandestine connections of electricity that had the families.

 It was known that the family chiefs of the housings were working at the moment of the fire and the mothers being in a meeting of the neighborhood.

 " We could see from my house a blaze and immediately we went away to looking for water and called the firemen ", said Jose Sanchez, one of the neighbors of the affected ones.

Five motor-pumps of Machala's Fire brigade came to the site of the fire to extinguish the fire, but in a little time the fire reached four inhabited housings and other one left; two housings more also suffered minor hurts.

 Leonardo Mejía, commander of the firemen, said that the reason of the fire probably should be a short circuit, to the time to confirm that there exist electrical clandestine facilities and it favors to which this type of disasters happen. " They are five houses and almost it could have extracted nothing because the chattels were burned ", it demonstrated.

 Rosa Mendieta, one of the affected ones, said that it lost the whole fruit of his work. " Now we do not have anything and wait for some help ", it indicated.
